·        Inflation is worse than deflation?  No, wait.  Deflation is worse than inflation?  No . . .

·        Mitch McConnell is not the Republican’s Joe Biden?

·        Gold is not money?

·        Give more of ‘em food stamps, more pay to stay home.  OK?

·        Would it really hurt to show up with another CPI, and say it’s the ‘new official’?

·        Isn’t ‘smaller government’ too radical for words?

It doesn’t matter.

Politic politicians [broadly defined] call the shots and scores until D.C. and its siblings might could glow by night in fire’s light.  The right way is so impolitic.  So ‘76s.

Doesn’t the empire have to combust?  Suffering scourges . . . in prospect.  Suffering heals . . . in retrospect.    Are those matches in Mr. Market's mitts?  Who'd a-thought that food and fuel and shelter from the storm could be tooled into weapons?  Who'd a-thought that gubmint's for its own sake?

There is the other side; the getting there - that’s a bitch.
