Yep, ‘Fork reads selectively every day; hence, ‘Fork’s got his own Daily Reader.
Neither is any source the best day-in and day-out, nor the worst. From each comes something to know, to consider, to inspire, to understand, to question, to laugh out loud, to wonder, to further inquire, to take home or leave outside. Most all mostly relate to society, politics, money, and man’s mayhem, misdeeds, and meanderings. Each has proven insightful, intent on the probative, usually but not always without heathen agenda. Subscription is free to all but one, which is when bundled, oddly, the weakest overall in ‘Fork’s opinion.
Of broadest daily comprehension, albeit always inclusive of views on gold and silver, is Ed Steer’s Gold & Silver Daily. The core of this Tuesday through Saturday presentation holds a litany of article hot buttons with introductory summaries or teasers or both. http://www.caseyresearch.com/gsd/home
Expected Returns focuses a subject daily and develops it seemingly personally,
sometimes defensively, and often unexpectedly. Recently, ‘Staggering Public
Confidence’ and relating Murphy’s Law to Black Swans were worth the reads. Text
is never longish and most often bittersweet.

Casey’s Daily Dispatch
and the undaily Conversations with Casey can be productive of
high-hanging fruit. “An informative and entertaining overview of the markets,
the economy, national and geopolitics… all tinted with an often contrarian view
of the world we live in.” In ‘Fork’s opinion, an elitist stained of atheist and
the unpleasantly popular Muslim apologist, diatribes vary in force and focus in
the Dispatch. Conversations With Casey can be outrightly entertaining, can be
at length, and can be outside most folks’ boxes, e.g., “Waiting for WWIII”
wherein a case is suitably made for the sins of memory’s myopia.

Porter Stansberry’s The Daily Crux is often best-of-litter for timely
articles not often referenced elsewhere for-shame. Au contraire, it is Porter’s
work in other of his pubs that get quoted elsewhere, including but not limited
to the dailies already mentioned. Which is one of the reasons ‘Fork may
willingly give up having to pay up a subscription to a bunch of Porter’s pubs,
in order to get The Daily Crux, which in ‘Fork’s opinion could well do
without the rest.

The Daily Reckoning has versions, the ‘Fork’s currently chosen to get the Australian model, which highlights some aspect socio-politico-economic interest in, of, or about Australia, along with a daily on something or other by Bill Bonner. The former can be insightful of a non-American view especially of the Far East. The latter can almost always deliver another way of thinking about almost anything. Consistently well written. http://dailyreckoning.com/
There are others, some of which are B-team players in ‘Fork’s opinion, while others are A-team now and then and get usually get netted by the ‘Fork’s Daily Readers.
To whet whistles, these recently came to the ‘Fork via the aforementioned:
“Milton Friedman – Greed” co-starring the young head of mush atop Phil Donohue .
