THE SURVIVAL BOX BY PITCHFORK
Introduction
In 'Fork's world, he's talking about boxing up the middle class for financial and physical survival (and success) - folks who in his opinion are targeted for societal demotion, demolition into servility. Keep singularly thinking right-on, right-on throughout this series about the Survival Box that this is not about investment; this is about survival.
If you’re really poor, team up. Bring survival value with you.
If you're really rich, then you’ll have this figured out for you for a chunk of your bucks to get their two cents
Herewith follows six pics each with text, including a pic with this text.
Inside The Survival Box
The Box identifies what 'Fork and The Missus could have of their own within their control to redistribute to themselves.
If he had gubmint-setup retirement accounts and the like, he'd not count 'em, reckoning gubmint could take it away should worse come to worse or else he’d pay out the nose to cash ‘em
He’s not counting fixed and other assets of illiquidity in the near term, e.g., collections, art, house, the pickup, etc.
In redistributing redistributable assets, the intention are . . .
To be better off in time than to have done nothing while coincidentally at least preserving, even prospering value to its owners. Their opinions.
Discipline thought, defy deprivation and depravity.
Convert usefully from US Dollars (USD) into at least one foreign currency, precious metals, securities related to precious metals (the latter mostly temporarily) and other preparedness materials some of which could become commodities of value in a barter-trade economy, i.e., reduce direct exposure to USD - dollar assets and dollar-denominated assets are not at all the same financial critters.
Comment: This so-called 'conversion' from USD assets to other (generally less liquid) assets is founded in a key distinction as 'Fork sees it; namely, USD cash - of arbitrarily sanctioned value, dollars by dictum if you will - is not wealth - it's a 'transactor', a medium of exchange, or conveyance, to, from, or between representations of wealth. The USD buys into wealth, sells from wealth, keeps score. Not more. USD, fiat currency debasement serves to define direct exposure to cash emphatically as a medium of wealth exchange and not wealth itself. By analogy: American cash is as an electrical cable - neither the line source of wealth, nor the load use of wealth, but rather the connector between wealth source and use, a place to measure performance, while not being a performer. Programmatically founded cash in wealth - as representing a physical commodity of known (and, praise-be, inviolably stable) definition and dimension, say of gold or silver or of both, or even (and, in some matters, better) the metals themselves (paper aside) - and then that cash is not only a transactor, a medium of exchange, but it is also wealth of itself. Ink-besmirched linen is, per se, not wealth; it's ink-besmirched linen. This confusion of asset and wealth, of source and use of funds versus the funds themselves, can take the mind full circle to reckon price - value's surrogate - as a psychological phenomenon; hence, in times of trouble, potentially a vaporous vanity. The moral hazard: beware direct exposure to cash, a vanity value, command conceit [read, if you will: good faith and credit], and soon choose your options wisely.
The Survival Box is a sum of the values identified within it.
The premises upon which this work with The Survival Box is based are, summarily –
US Dollar (USD) inflation (i.e., too much “money”) and, particularly, USD hyperinflation (flight from USD)
Global financial meltdown and attendants, excepting few countries
Not fleeing the household, while not obviating such flight
Not fleeing America, while not obviating such flight
Diverse civil disobedience and disruption on large scales
Dissolution and reformation of governance countrywide
The Survival Box is a notion of convenience in which to isolate and organize ‘Fork’s constructs and considerations of certain of his and The Missus’ personal assets in times of trouble sensed so far as prospective though majorly unseen and reckoned to come like thieves in the night.

sections by partition and percentage - both subject to your own
restructuring (albeit largely convertible, or transferable, across
partitions as needs arise)
