Herewith, a fantasy folio of the latter days in what could be construed as two-plus centuries of the second American Revolution, about the prospects of a tipping point of thought and action, the calculus and tantalus to troubled times worse and worse than that.

Pitchfork thinks that chopping and plopping events of American history into discrete, time-pockets tidies the still- beating bygone.  It's respectful of the story-teller, but not the story.  Well, the deepest delving discussion can start with a simple sentence in present tense.

Really, how tough can it be to know exactly when, say, the first American Revolution began?

Tough.  Really tough.  Tough as compartmentalizing the development of a human's thoughts and actions.  Ask any shrink worth the couch on which folks lie?  And that'd be one-on-one.  How about countries full of humans thinking and acting?

Where are the seeds of the second American Revolution?  What'd they look like?  How were they planted?  When did they germinate?  Tell all about the branching, seen and unseen?

Pitchfork's convenient sense of it:  the second American Revolution began as the first one wound down; however, in his mind's eye, he's looking at behavioral continua.  It's in the nature of the governing to set to a-grasping - no matter size, scope, sentiment.  And it's in the nature of the governed - with numbers of 'em and with time - to abide, by decision or by default.
