This survival project, as with all the others, is a survival experiment; Pitchfork and The Missus do not raise blueberries for a living – until a few weeks ago, not at all.
So
What’s involved? What to look for? Where to buy? How to handle? What to expect? What to avoid?
Pro vita sua

Update: December 2010. Abandoned further interest to buy and raise more than this first endeavor, sufficiently burdened by -
Poor condition on arrival (badly packed or handled, causing the loss of one bush and, seemingly, weakness in others for less than abundant moisture)
Field loss of 4 more of the 12 delivered, total 5 gone-for of 12 delivered
Slowness of growth to abundant bearing
Unanswered email inquiry to the growers, apparently among the better in their biz
