The right firearms for the right occasions could go a long way in the close security protection of you and yours.

Following on Pitchfork’s insistent guidance to personalize survival security for you and yours, he dreamed up a 2x2 matrix to help him through the firearms decision process – which arms, what occasions.

Conventionally, two-dimensional matrices relate states of nature and actions, i.e., whassup with this and whacha gonna do about it, respectively.

So, what about survival security and states of nature?  Pitchfork reckons two:  social and cultural. The firearms social state of nature according to Pitchfork is self-defense, or close personal protection for you and yours.  The firearms cultural state of nature is table food, this one’s overlapping Pitchfork’s other key ingredient to personal survival sustenance.  These distinctions seem clear enough to standalone.

Next, it's survival security and actions, isn’t it?  Pitchfork figures two actions at common boundaries: urban and rural.  Here’s where you’ll need to put yourself deeply into the firearms analytical hierarchy of survival needs schema.  In the commonplace range of urban (including in-home) on one extreme and rural on the other, there’s a parsing of degrees, or extents.
