What’s Pitchfork’s survival project not about?

Nope, no dire drama and dreadful delusion, no daring-do, no dastardly deeds.   

• This isn’t about being caught buck nekid and broken legged in wilderness hard-by Mt. Rainier

• This isn’t about being left staked by mobsters four ways in desert chill and blaze

• This isn’t about clinging to 80 feet of sinking yacht somewhere in the stormy north Atlantic

• This isn’t about being struck numb by the mother of all electromagnetic pulses from the other kind of aliens

• This is not about hellacious litanies of all the stuff you can cram into a semi-trailer ‘just in case’, in order to save your skin in every tight spot imaginable, starting with nuclear holocaust and ending with Bubonic plague 

• This is not about selling you on all the courses you’ll have to endure in prepping for whatever, as though you really could qualify for wheels-up with a military expeditionary force

• This is not about a nowadays Noah, diligently sweating it out day and night to build a bunker to back-off all comers

This guy’s nobody’s Last Boy Scout-Terminator type.  Pitchfork’s got other stuff to do, too.

• Grow older at his wife’s side

• Glory in the growth of their kids and grandkids

• Get it on with making a living self-employed

• Gauge the giddy-up of his America heading for Hell

• Give in, give it up not one whit
